HK Fixed Ride

Met up with the a few guys from HK fixed Thursday for a night ride. We went from TST Harbor to Kowloon Bay. Awesome to see new areas of HK, got to check out the abandoned airport which still has all the old runways. There was also this sweet bike park that we messed around in for about an hour.

Macau (China's Vegas)

Last weekend my roommates and I decided to go to Macau for the night.  Macau is an island an hour boat ride from Hong Kong.  Huge hotels and casinos dominate the island, it's basically the Vegas of Asia.  However it didn't really live up to the hype, it seemed as if everyone was loosing (including ourselves) and the Wynn was the only casino which served free drinks.  I guess the Asian culture is to blame for the lack of enthusiasm and dislike for alcohol.

Unfortunately, there was a Typhoon warning in place when we left.  This resulted in a rough hour on the boat and running from casino to casino to avoid the torrential rain.
